Prospect Electrical Wholesalers first commenced trading in March 1978 with a staff of 4. Initially Paul & Julie Maher (owners) rented the premises at Unit 1/ 20 Forge Street Blacktown but amazingly within about 18 months, good management and tight financial control was enough to convince the bank to allow the Mahers to finance the purchase of the premises – the warehouse from which Prospect Electrical still operates today.

For any business, thirty one years of trading is a milestone that only the most successful ever reach. It takes a special combination of good judgment, tenacity and people skills to grow and prosper in a competitive business environment.

Staff numbers have only increased to 6 in total but combined knowledge and loyalty both with staff and customers have made Prospect Electrical what is today.Our business is built on service and delivery with our aim being to provide quality products at a competitive price without sacrificing service. Being a part of the Gemcell group enables us to do just that.
