Marking stick can save time & trouble.
When marking power point locations, Sam Castellana has seen a lot of guys use a hammer, a tape measure (or even their belly buttons) to mark switch bracket heights. But Sam has found a better way!
Says Sam: "My old boss taught me many things but this one has stayed with me for 22 years. I keep a 2.3m piece of orange 32mm conduit with me when I am marking cut-outs. It has rings of black insulation tape wrapped around the circumference at various heights (measured from the bell end) for power points, for switches, for hot plate points and for alarm power points. Used as a measuring stick, it is quick and easy to mark the height of cut-outs without fumbling with tape measure (or even your belly button) and ensures consistent switch & point positions throughout the job."
Congratulations Sam. A cheque for $250 is on its way to you from the Olex Cable Guy.
