The Hole Truth about Holesaws!

Fed up with the frustration and time wasted extracting cut-out material jammed in your holesaw blades? Peter Back suggests a simple way to avoid the angst.

Peter suggests that wherever it is possible to access both sides of the material you are cutting, cut only part way through the material then flip it over and finish the penetration. For fixed items, drill from one side, then the other. The cut-out comes out cleanly and easily from the holesaw. There is no need to pull the holesaw apart or stab yourself with a screwdriver! The edges of the cut hole are also cleaner. This works on all materials. Metal, plastic, wood, etc.
